Bronx Community Home Care,
Inc. d/b/a Neighbors Home Care was established in 1985 and is licensed by New
York State Department of Health (DOH) to provide services for the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Westchester Counties. Its office is located at
2532 Boston Road, Bronx, New York.
The Company's commitment to
the patient's home health needs not only encompasses training and supervision,
but is evidenced by its adherence to the high ethics and standards of the New
York State Association of Health Care Providers Association (HCP) and it has been awarded
Accreditation by the Joint Commission as acknowledgement of its quality
services, scoring 98%, 99% or 100% on all of its previous surveys. In addition
the DOH has approved Neighbors Home Care to conduct
Home Health Aide Training Programs.
Neighbors Home Care has
trained and employed a large number of bilingual paraprofessionals to meet the
specialized needs of the Hispanic population. Additionally, since Neighbors Home Care has an approved full
training program as well as a transition program for Certified Nurses' Aides,
an upgrade program for Personal Care Workers, and a Competency Only program, we
are able to recruit personnel to meet the special needs that are
identified. Our personnel receive
initial and ongoing inservice education to meet the needs of many different
types of patients, who require assistance with activities of daily living.
